Nottely Boat Club & Marina

Nottely Boat Club & Marina was established as Terry's Boat Dock in 1941, when construction to create Lake Nottely began, and was later operated as Cozy Cove Marina, until it was sold to new owners in 2014. Nottely Boat Club & Marina continues the proud tradition of serving Lake Nottely (or Nottely Lake as the TVA calls it) and Blairsville, along with a variety of visitors from Georgia, neighboring states like Florida, Tennessee, North Carolina, and other states across the nation. We appreciate the loyalty of our customers, and the fond memories they've shared of early days at the Marina, along with the new ones they've formed.

​Lake Nottely

Nottely Boat Club & Marina is located in the North Georgia Mountains, on beautiful Lake Nottely - the best kept secret in North Georgia - spanning 106 miles of shoreline, 70% of which is protected Chattahoochee National Forest. Completed in 1942 with with the damming of the Nottely River, Nottely Reservoir extends 20 miles upstream to the charming small town of Blairsville. Initially intended to serve as flood control, a small generator was installed in the 1950s for power generation. Lake Nottely is typically at full pool between Memorial Day and Labor Day. Just 2 hours north of Atlanta, close enough for a day trip or weekend getaway, Lake Nottely is Blairsville's hidden gem. It's a great spot for fishing, swimming, sight seeing, and more. If you're looking for a place to launch your boat before docking in one of our many boat slips, you'll find a public launching site at Poteet Creek Campground, just a short drive and boat ride from the Marina, as well as other nearby launch sites. While you're in the area, be sure to stop by The Cove to stock up on snacks and beverages before you start your day on the lake!
