How do I rent a boat?
In order to book a boat rental reservation, Renters must create a Nottely Boat Club & Marina account within our online reservation system. Click the BOOK A BOAT button at the top of this page, then follow the prompts via the “Book a Boat” tab to create your reservation, then to checkout and complete your booking, you will need to create an account and choose your plan option, or login to your existing account.
Our Plan options include “Renter”, for traditional rentals (very similar to our rental options in prior years), and two boat club plans designed to give frequent renters more options and access. Those options include “Access” and “Access Plus”, with plan level costs/benefits summarized under the “Plans” tab within our reservation system.
How much does it cost to rent a boat?
Pricing varies depending on month, day of the week, time slot and boat type. To see pricing based on your chosen plan option, select Single-Day, or Multi-Day, select specific day(s) to rent, then choose from the list of available boats to view its time slots and pricing. (Note that when you select your time slot, you can drag the selected option to the right to add more time to a single day reservation.)
What do you rent?
We currently rent Godfrey Sweetwater tri-toons with 150 HP motors, perfect for pulling tubes or just cruising the lake. Our boats range from 21’ to 23’ and accommodate up to 12 people (manufacturer's posted Max Capacity total weight 1735 lbs; ave 144 lbs/person). We DO NOT RENT jet skis, kayaks, paddle boards, canoes, or other personal watercraft.
What are the requirements to rent a boat from Nottely Boat Club & Marina?
Renters and other Operators must be at least 25 years old and have a valid US driver’s license. Payment for the reservation is due in full at the time of booking, using a major credit card. Renters must also have the ability to put down a $1000 credit card hold upon arrival, as a security deposit, which will be released at the end of the rental, net of any charges for damages. Any damages exceeding the $1000 hold will be charged to the credit card on file, or to another major credit card provided if preferred.
Any Renter/Operator born on or after January 1, 1998, must complete a Georgia Department of Natural Resources (GA DNR) approved Boater Education Course and must have the course card/certificate in their possession while operating one of our rental boats, as evidence of completing the course. ALL Renter/Operators must have their valid US driver’s license with them, as well as a cell phone, in case of emergencies.
What if I don't see any boats available?
If you don't see any boats available, that may mean that the day is fully booked. Try searching for other dates to find availability, or check back closer to the reservation date in case of a cancellation! All reservations are updated online in real time.
If you have a Renter plan account and don't see any boats available, check back within a week of the desired reservation date, as some boats are held for boat club plan members (Access and Access Plus) first and will open to Renters if they are still available starting 7 days prior to the rental date – so it’s possible to find something on short notice!

Can my dog come on the boat?
Dogs are NOT PERMITTED on our boats, subject to added cleaning fees against the security deposit.
What can I NOT bring on the boat?
We DO NOT allow grills, hookahs, other flammable items, or smoking or vaping on our boats.
